Something To Make You Smile; Whilst I'm Away.

Whilst I embark on a miniature tour of the States, I thought I'd leave you with something to smile about. Or better yet, something to laugh about/at! (Because I'm a nice guy like that.)

"Two posts about football, in one month?! Non!" I hear you say?
"It's just a coincidence." I say.

Check out this Kerrr-Raayyyy-Zeeeehh football fan who appears out of NOWHERE to take a superb penalty. Where does he come from?! (rhetorical question) It looks like they put him in using a green screen! Looks advert-esque. But really, check that finish!

I think the England lads might be studying the footage as I type this, to gain a few tips.

Woo! That's right. Rack up the views!

...and I'll be seeing you in two weeks! Ciao!

I sweated heavily........

as I asked a pregnant woman on the tube,
"Would you like my seat?"

Or was it a food baby?

"That's Seeerious!" Vol. 3 - Probably the Best Advert Ever.

It seems I'm a bit late on this [Advert for the Blueprint 3], but this advert blows my mind! No homo. I notched up it's views by about 20....on my first watch. It's so on point. It probably is the best advert ever!

Jay-Z x Roundhouse x Issue One x Paper Boi

Equipped with demo CDs, and a 'L' Paper Boi tee packed especially for Jigga man himself...

Mikilo and I impatiently waited.....and fortunately Jay's performance at the Roundhouse last night was crazy (Even though it was always going to be.) So, 18 hours later and my ears are still ringing (Check facebook status).

One of the funniest moments I've experienced at a Gig - unable to get right to the front and in an attempt to get a tee to Jay, Mikilo dashed it on stage...only to be picked up and shown to Jay by a keyboard player (keyboardist? lol) . "Mind on my money, Money on my mind....Hmm." Jay says. Maybe not too funny for you, but very funny (x exciting) for us.

Caught DJ Semtex outside, and managed to drop him a CD too. If you're reading this, holla! All, in all...a good night. A very good night. Anyway, as per previous post - I managed to capture and touch up a few 'classic' pics myself....and here are a small selection. Enjoy. (blame blogger for compression)

Thank You - Emmanuel Adebayor

For a historical sporting moment which had me in fits (laughing ones).

The slide was Epic. Props to him running 100MPH to the other end of the pitch. Wahey!
But Boo for the dirt on Van Persie.

Jay-Z : The Blueprint 3 x The Roundhouse Gig

Okay, it's not exactly a post about BP3....but more like the celebration of it! AND actually managing to get tickets to his gig at the roundhouse! *shakes like a fiend*

Finally, another Jigga album.*shakes like a fiend again*. Although it's not like he really takes long to put them out....My top three tracks of The Blueprint 3 (minus DOA, because that just ain't fair!) (subject to change):
- What we talking about
- Empire State of Mind feat. A Keys
- Off that feat. Drake

...and I also thought I'd plough through press photos, magazine covers etc. to find some quality shots of the man himself. These have my votes for classical imagery. No captions, pure photos. In 3, 2, 1.......

10,000 views on my MySpace

I signed in to MySpace the other day, and I literally looked like this:

Except I was wearing the 96/98 kit (what you know about home clothes?!)

I finally reached 10,000 views! It might not seem like a lot to some (50cent with 54,687,051 views/ La Roux 2,821,648 etc. etc.) but it means that all means of directing people to it, are working. i.e. Going to libraries and logging onto My Myspace page on every computer ;)

I'm not constantly on MySpace adding people and posting comments etc. so it comes as quite a nice surprise. I'd like to thank my Mum, my Dad...the Wife...

No but really.....;

Keep Visiting.....

Theres TOOO MUCH more to come.

Walt Disney buys Marvel Ent for £2.5b

Mickey Mouse & co. takes over the X-Mansion

Pinch punch it's the first of the month!

Boy oh boy have I been away! But I'm back like I've never left.

(Comes in strong like Trevor McDonald) In breaking news, Walt Disney has bought Marvel! Now if you know me, and I think you know me....you'd know that I'm a bit of a Marvel fan.
So hearing this news is a bit like..."Whoa!"

Original article here.

"Walt Disney is to buy comic book giant Marvel Entertainment in a £2.5billion deal. It means Disney will own 5,000 characters, including Spider-Man, the X-Men and the Incredible Hulk."

I don't know if that's good or bad! (I think its crap actually.)
Imagine finding out...errrrm. That 'The Power Rangers' were managed by My Little Pony!!

Have no fear...it will all work out when I can play 'Spiderman 9: The revival of Mufasa' on my 360.
