Notorious B.I.G. ‘Juicy’ 1Xtra Remix featuring Sway, Sincere, Tinchy Stryder, Kyla, Bashy & Tor
This is a UK take on Biggy's 'Juicy'. A very BIG look (pun intended) for UK Music. Some people will probably diss just because the bars don't really go too hard; they are just adapted .... but I think the whole concept works. Props to Bashy and Sway on this one. Nice to see Kyla on the hook too.
"Now the gyallies stay close like Michelle does to O-/
...Bama, my blog's the most viewed on the Road/" - Bashy
"Akon just signed me to a major/
And if you don't know.....now you know/" - Sway
All in all, its a nice tune.

M.I.A. gives birth to her baby boy!
Approx. 30 minutes post-last post (make sense?), I headed to M.I.A.'s MySpace....and via her blog she has revealed that she gave birth to her baby boy at about 2am following her performance at the grammy's! Thank God she didn't go into labour during the performance and ruin that 'legendary performance'! Lol!
She woulda been singing, "No-one on the corner water broke like mine!".........or something less cheesy, more funny.
Congratulations M.I.A.!
edit- p.s. Even MySpace's very own Tom has congratulated her! Boom!

Swagger Like Us 2009 Grammy Performance
I'm sure this is talk of the town [Blogville] right now, but I just had to post this. From when I've been rockin' this tune 3x a day[mostly out of the whip] for a good half a year now, this live performance was always gonna excite me. This performance was truely legendary.
It was always gonna be that way, but M.I.A. performing 'Paper Planes' and then the transition into 'Swagger Like Us'...All I can say is "Jeeeeeeeez!" All of them rockin' Tuxs' was a nice spin on it too.
You might have seen it already, but once ain't enough. Enjoy.

Snow Fight!!
Woo! It's snowing!! I can honestly not remember the last time it snowed, it's crazy! Sorry if you don't think its worth the post...actually, I'm not! Snow is the one and I don't know ANYONE that doesn't like snow. I had the first snow fight I've had in God knows how many years!
Anyway, if you're reading this and your living in Canada, or Iceland... or Lapland..you're probably like "Why's this guy hyping for?" or better yet, *american accent* "Why is this dude gettin' maaadd crazzzyy excited forrr yoo?" Well, it's because I'm in LONDON B! Snow come 'round here like.......I don't even know, it just doesn't!
Well, that's enough excitement for tonight. Hope you enjoyed the ranting and raving, + my own personal snappy snap. Ha.

The Wrestler

This film had me sold on the poster. The rawness, colour and simplicity of the design is just amazing. Last night I attempted to see Seven Pounds, but because I was running on filipino time I arrived just in time to watch the Wrestler. Mickey Rourke is purely sick for this one. Acting was on point - furthermore, everything was on point. I
It was one of them ones that had everything. It was tragic, funny, glory [sort of], ok not everything but I'm definitely feeling this one. The story is on point, the edits were nice, and the right music was played at the right time. I particularly liked the way it ended. You know..... why it ended the way it did - and how; meaning the shots and all that. I'm not gonna go into it 'cos I don't want to spoil it, but it was the one.
I'm a big fan of indie films, and The Wrestler is definitely up there.
Aronofsky. "You crazy for this one!"
