Till The Casket Drops

First of all, Happy New Year Everyone! I Can't believe I haven't said that sooner, but better late than never ay?

Whilst like most of you (or the festive half), my stomach, liver and wallet are still recovering from the festive season, so more recently I've been indoors listening to good music, making even better music, and taking off a couple head tops on Call of Duty:MW2. But enough about me, more about the topic at hand: The new Clipse album - Till The Casket Drops.

The Best Duo Ever?

No it hasn't just been released, it's been out for more than month now, but why would I post about it when I haven't had the chance to listen to it properly? So for the past month it's been played whilst whipping the whip, tube journeys, bench pressing, chillin' with the homies....and all that.

It's quite raw,
but at the same time very fresh

which is a combination I'm sure a lot of artists would struggle to pull off. Some of the tracks come very hard, and some them is just that real feel good music. If you've kept/been keeping up with my blog than you would know I was muchos excited about this album...and I still am! Too many bangers! Lol. Plus I am completely loving the Neptunes produced tracks on there....nice to see the formula is still working! If you haven't yet copped than there is no better time than the present!

Nike Air Yeezy Quickstrike Wave 2 - Black/Pink

So I showed you the first wave, and now here's the second. They are sooooo sick! The new wave of Nike Air Yeezy Quickstrikes [black/pink] dropped this morning, and Big Mike [also known Mikilo] and myself toured the City last night/early morning, scoping the queues and what not.

Size? in Carnaby St. had 13 pairs available and when we got there, there were already 13 people + sleeping bags there! These serious guys had been there since Friday. That's Seerrrioouss! We then rolled to 1984 in Shoreditch via Nike Town to laugh at campers that were queueing for trainers that weren't there. There were a couple goons outside 1984, but apparently they all had tickets - blah blah I can't remember - the whole process seemed looooong.

Mikilo snapped some sick images and so if I can I'll post them another. Anyways, decided I wasn't getting Yeezy's this time around and drowned my sorrows with a 1/4 Pounder [with cheese] and went home. Boo!

Clipse feat. Kanye West - Kinda Like A Big Deal

When I saw Clipse and 'Ye on the same line, I was like "JHEEZ!". The beat is fire, and it's nice to see a collaboration that wasn't really expected.

Clipse don't rock it as hard as I thought they would...although it still is pretty hard. I guess this is a bit more of a party/mainstream tune. Clipse are fire. Like, scorching hot. If you don't know, get to know..and if you thought you knew, take another look. I bump Hell Hath No Fury dreaming of Til The Casket Drops. Yeah I copped the mixtapes, don't watch that...but H.H.N.F is just a f*ckin' masterpiece.

These are the sickest rapper meets [insert sports brand here] trainer to date. S. Carter's, G. Unit's, The Games [what were they even called?] All written off.....even though that was done about 5 years ago anyway.

I read somewhere that they are being released in limited amounts, in different waves of colours. This colour scheme is dammmmn fly, can't wait to see what else they come out with...especially to beat those fakes.

Only 1000 of these were released in the US so that means we probably have about 6 over here in the UK and are priced £149.99 (according to size?). Having said that these were released like 4-5 days ago and are obviously out of stock everywhere already. Have you got yours? Me neither...."I'm waiting for the next wave!"

Hold on though, maybe you can cop some for about a trillion pounds on ebay! And they'll probably turn out to be fakes too! Don't worry...just say they are the pre released frog green ones!
