Hibernating in my own world of creativity where my heart beats through synthesizers and my soul thrives through digital imagery I find it hard to leave and come up for air let alone write a blog post.

Till The Casket Drops
First of all, Happy New Year Everyone! I Can't believe I haven't said that sooner, but better late than never ay?
Whilst like most of you (or the festive half), my stomach, liver and wallet are still recovering from the festive season, so more recently I've been indoors listening to good music, making even better music, and taking off a couple head tops on Call of Duty:MW2. But enough about me, more about the topic at hand: The new Clipse album - Till The Casket Drops.

But enough about me, more about the topic at hand: The new Clipse album - Till The Casket Drops.
No it hasn't just been released, it's been out for more than month now, but why would I post about it when I haven't had the chance to listen to it properly? So for the past month it's been played whilst whipping the whip, tube journeys, bench pressing, chillin' with the homies....and all that.
It's quite raw,
but at the same time very fresh
which is a combination I'm sure a lot of artists would struggle to pull off. Some of the tracks come very hard, and some them is just that real feel good music. If you've kept/been keeping up with my blog than you would know I was muchos excited about this album...and I still am! Too many bangers! Lol. Plus I am completely loving the Neptunes produced tracks on there....nice to see the formula is still working! If you haven't yet copped than there is no better time than the present!
Tracks to look out for:
Champion
Footsteps
Kinda Like a Big Deal (feat. Kanye West) [Which you should have already heard!]
Currently listening - Rick Ross feat. Pusha T, T-Pain - Maybach Music 2.5

Swiss (SOS) Goes In on 'em!
Now if you were a So Solid fan back in the day, you would know that Swiss came hard. Real real hard. You would also know that his flow kept up with the times...so it's nice to see him on WestwoodTV spitting that truth, and showing us how it's done. I'm a big fan of the Grammy Family instrumental, probably one my favourites of all time...(makes me think I might have to publish the freestyle I done over that still!)
This was posted a few months ago, but some how escaped me. Lol @ a lot of comments on the youtube page. I say no more. Anyway, this guy needs no introduction...I just gotta give a big shout to Rev-O DK for putting me on this. Peep Swiss (with Sef and Shabz) in the studio with Westwood. Looool @ Shabz face at about 5:08, that was my expression for the whole video!
"I fell back...... got my mind right/
but my name rang like I was still in the limelight/
You spitters are fine...night/
I scribble my lines..I'm/
One in a million I sit in the riddim my rhymes tight."
Jeez!

"Until We Bleed" Featuring Issue One
Ok so get this, last post I was listening to Kleerup feat. Lykke Li - Until We Bleed. And NOWWWW, I've jumped on top of those amazing strings and spat spitted those bars. I'm Nice!!
My people, feast your ears on this.
Kleerup and Lykke Li, Holla at me!
P.s. I felt kind of nice, so you can download it here . I might choose to take it down at a later date though. lol.

"That's Seeerious!" Vol. 4 - The Misfits
The UK winter has brought a lot of unwell days to me of recent, so a lot of shows, old and new have been getting airtime (not airrrrrrrtime, just regular airtime) from me. Now I didn't watch The Misfits as it was aired per week, but decided to catch up using 40D.
Ha, what can I say! If you don't watch this already...I don't want to give too much away, and if you DO watch it already then I'm with you on this one. I wasn't completely sold on the first episode, but 3 episodes deep and they have me! Can't wait for the next one!!
It's about a group of young offenders doing their community service..when a lot of strange happenings occur. Haven't told you enough? Go and watch it! lol. Real talk though, it's not too late!
The thing I love about these E4 shows (i.e. Skins) is their choice of music. Ok, some of it is commercial crap, but a lot of the times you find songs that you probably would have either:
A) never found, or B) would have found in a million years which by then you'd be so old you probably couldn't even hear it properly! Tune in...it's seeerious!!

Work Hard x Play Hard
Never before have I felt so inspired to create; design and make music. I have so many ideas and plans practically leaking out of my ears that I feel need to be carried out...and that is what I have been out doing. Inspired by and aspire to those who create not just to pay the bills but for the <3 of it.
You might think I have taken a quote out of some sort of design bible but I haven't, it's just exactly how I am feeling. I am currently partaking in the creation of certain projects; The All in One EP project has been put on hold/transformed into some sort of electronic demo project, and pushing my design skills in the production of the HiDefShow.Com website. (More about this at a later date)
I've been pushing and pushing to create amazing work, so that other can too be inspired...A big thanks is due to the small circle of creatives that are kept close by......you truly inspire me!
In other news...COD is the shizzle!

Bicycle Wall Art by Chairman Ting
While I've always dreamed of doing something like this on my wall - well, not exactly like it...but, doing some hand drawn art on one of the four walls of my bedroom/office-studio/creative box, this guy seems to have it on LOCK DOWN! Check out Chairman Tings other animation posted on his vimeo account, his illustrations are sick!
And efore you ask, the song you hear in this video is “Metrorail Thru Space” by Cut Chemist. Which is a very big musical piece, so to speak.
Currently listening: Wu-Tang Clan - Protect Ya Neck (The Jump Off)

How Inspiring....
Back from yet another amazing holiday. MIA was beautiful, and NY was inspiring! Came back with a lot more baggage, in the suitcase AND the body! Lol, those New York portions are NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO joke!!
Whilst I'm back with a feeling similar to having no purpose, multiplied by holiday depression...I look for things to cheer me up (whilst munching Hersheys Kisses with almonds, about 4 per minute). So, in no relation to my holiday what so ever, here is a video of Pharrell letting hunger take over him...trying to get a McDonald's in Paris to open early. Hilarious! Pure Genius.
Altogether now!!!...."Big Macfor later bitch Fillet O Fish....(8)"
edit - Turns out he is actually singing a children's rhyme from the 80s? I need to look that one up! Maybe it was a US thing? Then again..I am an 80s Baby, 90s Kid!

Something To Make You Smile; Whilst I'm Away.
Whilst I embark on a miniature tour of the States, I thought I'd leave you with something to smile about. Or better yet, something to laugh about/at! (Because I'm a nice guy like that.)
"Two posts about football, in one month?! Non!" I hear you say?
"It's just a coincidence." I say.
Check out this Kerrr-Raayyyy-Zeeeehh football fan who appears out of NOWHERE to take a superb penalty. Where does he come from?! (rhetorical question) It looks like they put him in using a green screen! Looks advert-esque. But really, check that finish!
I think the England lads might be studying the footage as I type this, to gain a few tips.
Woo! That's right. Rack up the views!
...and I'll be seeing you in two weeks! Ciao!

It seems I'm a bit late on this [Advert for the Blueprint 3], but this advert blows my mind! No homo. I notched up it's views by about 20....on my first watch. It's so on point. It probably is the best advert ever!

Jay-Z x Roundhouse x Issue One x Paper Boi
Equipped with demo CDs, and a 'L' Paper Boi tee packed especially for Jigga man himself...
Mikilo and I impatiently waited.....and fortunately Jay's performance at the Roundhouse last night was crazy (Even though it was always going to be.) So, 18 hours later and my ears are still ringing (Check facebook status).
One of the funniest moments I've experienced at a Gig - unable to get right to the front and in an attempt to get a tee to Jay, Mikilo dashed it on stage...only to be picked up and shown to Jay by a keyboard player (keyboardist? lol) . "Mind on my money, Money on my mind....Hmm." Jay says. Maybe not too funny for you, but very funny (x exciting) for us.
Caught DJ Semtex outside, and managed to drop him a CD too. If you're reading this, holla! All, in all...a good night. A very good night. Anyway, as per previous post - I managed to capture and touch up a few 'classic' pics myself....and here are a small selection. Enjoy. (blame blogger for compression)

Jay-Z : The Blueprint 3 x The Roundhouse Gig
Okay, it's not exactly a post about BP3....but more like the celebration of it! AND actually managing to get tickets to his gig at the roundhouse! *shakes like a fiend*
Finally, another Jigga album.*shakes like a fiend again*. Although it's not like he really takes long to put them out....My top three tracks of The Blueprint 3 (minus DOA, because that just ain't fair!) (subject to change):
- What we talking about
- Empire State of Mind feat. A Keys
- Off that feat. Drake
...and I also thought I'd plough through press photos, magazine covers etc. to find some quality shots of the man himself. These have my votes for classical imagery. No captions, pure photos. In 3, 2, 1.......

10,000 views on my MySpace
I signed in to MySpace the other day, and I literally looked like this:

Except I was wearing the 96/98 kit (what you know about home clothes?!)
I finally reached 10,000 views! It might not seem like a lot to some (50cent with 54,687,051 views/ La Roux 2,821,648 etc. etc.) but it means that all means of directing people to it, are working. i.e. Going to libraries and logging onto My Myspace page on every computer ;)
I'm not constantly on MySpace adding people and posting comments etc. so it comes as quite a nice surprise. I'd like to thank my Mum, my Dad...the Wife...
No but really.....;
Keep Visiting.....
Theres TOOO MUCH more to come.

Walt Disney buys Marvel Ent for £2.5b
Pinch punch it's the first of the month!
Boy oh boy have I been away! But I'm back like I've never left.
(Comes in strong like Trevor McDonald) In breaking news, Walt Disney has bought Marvel! Now if you know me, and I think you know me....you'd know that I'm a bit of a Marvel fan.
So hearing this news is a bit like..."Whoa!"
Original article here.
"Walt Disney is to buy comic book giant Marvel Entertainment in a £2.5billion deal. It means Disney will own 5,000 characters, including Spider-Man, the X-Men and the Incredible Hulk."
I don't know if that's good or bad! (I think its crap actually.)
Imagine finding out...errrrm. That 'The Power Rangers' were managed by My Little Pony!!
Have no fear...it will all work out when I can play 'Spiderman 9: The revival of Mufasa' on my 360.

Graft music video - Now on YouTube!
As some of you know [not all], I have been Graftin' in the lab, and video editing suite..to bring you 'Graft', the animated music video. I wanted to get a bit of an initial response before officially blogging it, and I did that.
I received a lot of support from family and friends, and have had a lot of positive feedback. On the other hand, I've also had a handful of people straight up hating on it/me. I'm not talking abut constructive criticism, I'm talkin' about people sending those any YouTube messages..."This is whack, your chin smells [WTF]" etc. [Seriously, I got that]
Anyway..I'm like, "B, I've dedicated one bar in this song to you! How can you say you don't like it?"
.........[altogether now] ''HI HATERS!!!" *waves*
In all honesty, I know that it's not gonna be fitting to everyone's taste, but I'm sure a few of those people will appreciate the effort it took. I have put too muchhard work blood, sweat and tears [Yeah, I shed a few![not really]] into this project, and I will stand by my product 'til the end!!
For those who haven't watched it....here it is:
Feel free to comment....all feedback is appreciated, apart from those who want to tell me my chin smells. [It doesn't!]
Oh and one last thing thing...Graft!
